Please come to see the new collection of Oil Paintings- 'Ancient Essex' at the Maeldune Heritage Centre.

Opens 8th -27th July.

Painted by the military artist J Hugh L Beattie, these paintings are a tribute to Maldon, Colchester and the surrounding country side around North Essex. Hugh has found the most unspoilt landscapes and made them into icons of to the glory of the Essex History and landscape.
