Time to celebrate the history of Essex!

Following its blistering success in 2021, we are very happy to confirm that 'A Time for Essex' will return to us in 2022! This hugely popular, multi-period Living History, Museum and Air Display event gives us the opportunity to make the most of the rich cultural history of the County. We invite all Essex museums to contact us to secure a space to promote their site and work; let's shout about our Heritage! Enquiries should be directed to [email protected] We welcome applications from high-standard Living History groups of any period from Early Medieval to 1970. Please note – an application does not confirm attendance, as competition is fierce and standards are high! Please expect to provide specific images of your camp and referenced kit to be vetted by our Curatorial team. No Plastic Camping – only Living History available.
