Maldon residents are set to head to the polls tomorrow (Thursday, 24 February), as the town and district councils each hold by-elections to fill vacant seats - here's everything you need to know.
Why are the Maldon by-elections taking place?

Who are the candidates standing?
Four people are standing for the district council Wickham Bishops and Woodham seat - Colin Leslie Baldy (Lib Dem), Simon John Neville Morgan (Cons), Lance Patrick Peatling (Ind) and Matthew Wallis-Keyes (Lab).
For the town seat, two people have been nominated.
They are John Driver (Lib Dem) and Tom Kelly, who is a local resident.
