Free sessions across Maldon district to support emotional wellbeing post-pandemic

FREE Face-to-face group workshops across Maldon district are being offered to those who require some emotional support due to the impact of the pandemic on their lives.

Maldon and District Community Voluntary Service (MDCVS), in partnership with Interact Ltd and PureBalance, are offering a number of two-hour workshops which will focus on what people's anxieties are in relation to Covid-19, including family, health and employment issues.

Helpful coping strategies will; be discussed with a qualified mental health first aid trainer. This is followed, after a short break, with a 30-minute relaxation session facilitated

by a wellbeing trainer, before ending with a session round-up.

The four workshops are being held on:

-Tuesday, 8 June at 10.30am to 12.30pm at Memorial Hall, High Street, Southminster, CM0 7AA

-Tuesday, 15 June at 10.30am to 12.30pm at The Parish Rooms, 48, Church Street, Tollesbury, CM9 8QL

-Wednesday, 16 June at 10.30am to 12.30pm at Burnham Village Hall, 2, Arcadia Road, Burnham-on-Crouch, CM0 8EF

-Wednesday, 23 June at 10.30am to 12.30pm at Fullbridge Church, 27, Fullbridge, Maldon, CM9 4LE.

There are spaces for up to 10 participants and booking is essential.
