Thursday

  • Maldon Market, Maldon

Maldon Market is held every Thursday morning throughout the year on Butt Lane Car Park, just off the High Street. Every week, a range of stallholders sell their local products, from fruit and veg, to cheese, crafts and repair services. Visit from 9am to 1pm. 

  • Fireworks, Maldon

Limebrook Primary School is holding a 'Firework Spectacular' on Thursday evening. Gates open at 6.15pm, with fireworks to start at 7pm. Tickets are available to purchase from the main school office, and are £5 per adult and £2.50 per child.

  • Psychic Evening, Maldon

Madison Heights on Park Drive is hosting a Psychic Evening in aid of RACE Animal Rescue. There will be 1 to 1 readings, tarot cards, Mediums, Clairvoyants, an esoteric healer and Angel and Oracle cards. There will also be craft stalls selling candles, jewellery, charms and Christmas items. From 7pm to 10pm.

Saturday

  • Boreham House Contents Sale, Boreham

A Stately Home will be closing its doors next month. This Saturday there will be a contents sale where the public are invited to purchase items from the home. From 10am to 4pm.

  • Daddy Cool Story Time, Maldon

A special story time session for dads and their kids for Men's Mental Health Month. Head to Maldon Library with your little one and meet other dads, grandads and carers in a relaxed environment. Library Manager Jay will be reading your favourite stories from 'The Gruffalo' to 'Where the Wild Things Are'. No booking required for this free event. 11am.

Sunday

  • Market, Heybridge Basin

This Sunday the Basin Waterside Market returns to The Jolly Sailor in the Heybridge Basin. Browse a range of products by local stallholders.

  • Remembrance Parade, Stow Maries 

Join in on the commemoration of the Fallen at Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome, in the presence of the Lord Lieutenancy of Essex. Now an established fixture in the county Festival of Remembrance, the parade at Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome is a hugely popular event. While the event is free to attend with a ticket, donations are welcome.

  • Remembrance Parade, Maldon

The service will take place on November 10 at 10.50am at the War Memorial outside All Saints Church. It will gather members of the Royal British Legion, the Church and the community to Maldon High Street, as they honour the service and sacrifice of those that defended our freedoms. The ceremony will include a wreath-laying, the Last Post, the Exhortation and Silence, and the National Anthem, concluding with a march past of local veterans, services, and local cadet groups.
