Maldon Prom: the high tide could cause some flooding on Saturday, 14 November

A flood warning for the Essex coast - including Hythe Quay and the Prom, Maldon - has been issued.

The warning message has been issued because there is a possibility of some minor flooding to coastal roads and footpaths between 8.30am and 12.30pm tomorrow (Saturday, 14 November).

Tides are expected to be higher than usual due to the forecast weather conditions during spring tides.

The Hythe and Promenade at Maldon may be flooded.

The advice is to stay clear of affected coastal footpaths and to take extra care on coastal roads.

Full and detailed information on the flood warning - as well as any updates - is available at the Government website here.
