Residents are invited to an Information Event on Maldon's proposed Banking Hub.

Cash Access UK will be holding a drop-in information session at Maldon Town Hall from 1pm to 4pm on Wednesday, June 11.

The event aims to explain what a banking hub is and detail the services that will be available to residents and businesses in Maldon.

It follows Cash Access UK's promise to provide cash and basic banking services to communities across the UK - in areas where major bank branches have closed their doors.

Maldon Town Mayor, Cllr John Driver, commented: "This is a positive step forward in ensuring our community retains access to vital banking services.

"We encourage residents to attend this information event to learn more about the banking hub and the benefits it will bring to Maldon."

The location of the Maldon Banking Hub is yet to be confirmed, with Cash Access UK saying the Hub is expected to be up and running by March 2026.
