Essex & Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT) has announced a prize draw where one lucky winner and a guest will get the chance to win a flight in the charity's brand-new AW169 helicopter during EHAAT's Heli-bration event taking place at Hatfield House on Sunday, 14 July.

Taking off from the iconic venue, the winners will enjoy a stunning scenic route to EHAAT's North Weald airbase.

This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is available only on 14 July 2024, while G-EHAT is offline for the event and a replacement aircraft continues its crucial life-saving service.

EHAAT does not usually offer public flights and this unique experience may never be repeated.

For just £25 per entry, those who wish to enter can increase their chances of winning by entering as many times as they like. All proceeds from the competition will go towards supporting EHAAT's life-saving service.

Jane Gurney, CEO of EHAAT, says: "A one-off opportunity, we are immensely excited to offer this exceptional experience to our supporters. The donation from every entry will go towards Essex & Herts Air Ambulance to ensure that we can continue to provide a pre-hospital emergency service to those in need."

Key Details:

Competition Closes: Thursday 11 July 2024 at 11.59 pm

Draw Date: Friday 12 July 2024

Flight Date: Sunday 14 July 2024

*Transport via taxi will be provided from North Weald back to Hatfield House.
