Chelmsford's biggest trampoline park applies for permission to sell alcohol

Chelmsford's biggest trampoline centre has applied for permission to sell alcohol at its premises.
Air Hop, in the Dukes Park Industrial Estate, has applied to Chelmsford City Council for a license to sell alcohol to patrons.
If granted, it will be able to serve drinks between 9am and 7pm Friday to Monday, and between 2.30pm to 7pm Tuesday to Thursday.
AirHop Chelmsford is a huge indoor adventure park and is not only home to Essex's biggest trampoline arena but also Essex's largest climbing centre.
The trampolining arena has a large main court featuring slam-dunk lanes, an AirBag, a dodgeball court, and two wall trampolines. Visitors can also experience the UK's biggest AirSlides.
Airhop is also home to an all-weather Clip'n Climb climbing centre.
A spokesperson for AirHop said: "We're always looking at ways to improve and diversify our offering by finding opportunities to bring the fun and excitement a visit to AirHop offers to a wider range of people.
"By being able to offer alcohol on our Chelmsford premises, we hope to broaden our offering's appeal to corporate bookings and adult groups. As always, the health and safety of our customers will remain our foremost concern and participants will not be permitted to drink and jump."
