As we prepare to celebrate Christmas this weekend, events in Maldon are sure to offer something for everyone - find full details here.

Christmas Eve services at All Saints Church, Maldon: Saturday 24 December

  • 3pm: Crib Service - come dressed as a character from the Christmas story, such as an angel, shepherd, wiseman, or animal
  • 5pm: Service of Light - collections from both these services will be shared with Crisis for Christmas, Maldon Food Pantry and the Church
  • 11pm: Blessing of the crib and Midnight Mass - with Father John

Xmas Eve Art in the Café at Sophie's Kitchen, Maldon: Saturday 24 December, from 10.30am to 12.30pm

Join local artist, Charlie Moore, at the tea room in Maldon High Street for a sale of art prints.

Xmas Eve Paddle at Hoe Mill Lock, Maldon: Saturday 24 December, from 9am

Meet at Hoe Mill at 9am, for a festive paddle up the River Chelmer and back. Guests require a canal license.

There will be a meal afterwards, at a local pub. Booking is essential.

Holy Communion at All Saints Church, Maldon: Sunday 25 December, from 10am

The Communion will be led by Reverend Noelle. There will be no service.
