Competition time: Free tickets available for two amazing music events at Maldon Prom this month

Maldon Nub News and Burnham and Dengie Nub News have five pairs of free tickets to give away to either of two amazing events coming up in Promenade Park, Maldon, later this month.

Both events are star-studded and will appeal to music-lovers everywhere. Party in the Park events is giving Nub News five pairs of tickets - with each winner choosing which of the two concerts they and one guest would like to attend. The tickets will be emailed to the winners directly by the organisers.

To be in with a chance to win, all you have to do is email: [email protected] stating which event you would like to be in the draw for. The closing date for email entries is midnight on Thursday, 15 July and winners will be picked at random and notified by email on Saturday, 17 July.

So here are brief details of the two events, with links to find out more and how to buy any remaining tickets, should you be sure of wanting to go:

  1. KATHERINE JENKINS with Orchestra
This event on Sunday, 25 July 2021 runs from 4pm till 10.30pm

Special guests are Paul Potts, Collabro and The Kingdom Choir

All ages picnic event at the stunningly scenic Promenade Park

Note: This is a picnic event and food is allowed to be brought into the festival, but no glass or cutlery

No liquids, alcohol or any other drink are allowed to be brought in to the festival with the exception of sealed bottles or cans of water.

There will be licensed bars at the festival selling all variety of alcohol and soft drinks and also coffee and tea vendors.

Fold-up chairs and picnic blankets can be brought in to the festival.

It's an All Ages Event - Though not specifically aimed at families, children are allowed to come to the festival if accompanied by an adult. Children under 10 come free .

  1. FANTASIA
This event on Saturday, 31 July 2021 runs from 12 midday till 11.30pm

Free shuttle buses running all day - From North Fambridge Train Station (via London Liverpool Street Line and Southend Victoria Line) to Promenade Park

Note: No food is allowed to be brought into this festival. There are lots of food stalls catering for all tastes. People with specific dietary needs can phone 07968 779950 to discuss requirements.
