Council reminds owners that dogs must be kept on a lead at the Prom from today

Maldon District Council is reminding visitors to Promenade Park that dogs must be kept on a leash from today (Thursday, 1 April) until the end of September.

The map with this article shows the area where the summertime Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) is in place at the popular park.

A spokesperson for Maldon District Council said: "We have several Public Spaces Protection Orders in place that require dogs to be on a lead at all times from April 1 - September 30. This includes Promenade Park, Riverside Park and Burnham on Crouch."
