Council to close men's toilets early at the Prom due to vandalism

VANDALS have sprayed graffiti 'tags' over the men's toilets in both the High Street and Promenade Park - leading to a decision to close them in the Prom at 4pm each day from now on.

The toilets close to the seawall and in the car park will remain open as these have not been affected so far.

The extensive spray paint has appeared in both locations this week (since Monday, 24 May) and the council is appealing to the public for information to help bring the culprits to book.

An MDC spokesperson said: "If you recognise these tags or know who is responsible for this graffiti we would love to hear from you confidentially."

You can direct message the council on Twitter @MaldonDC or report to the Maldon Police team on 101.
