POLICE say they are 'working hard' to find a man missing from his home in Maldon abnd are seeking the public's help.

Stuart Simpson, 55, was last seen wearing a black coat, blue jeans and blue trainers.

A police statement says: "We believe he is likely to be travelling in a black Seat Leon, registration number YPZZ UZK.

"Stuart has links to Manchester and we're also exploring whether he is travelling or has travelled to the north west.

"We're extremely concerned for his welfare and we're asking anyone with information on Stuart to please get in touch as soon as possible by calling 101."
