Maldon District Council announce the return of free parking in town centre car parks, including during the Maldon Christmas Fayre on November 30.

There will also be free parking in Town Centre Car Parks from 2pm on Thursday 7th, 14th and 21st December and all-day on Christmas Eve. 

Cllr Richard Siddall, Leader of Maldon District Council, said: "It's great to be able to support the Maldon High Street businesses again at this time of year.

"I am sure the free parking in the run up to Christmas, will encourage residents and visitors to the Town to shop local and help support the businesses in Maldon's fantastic High Street. 

"So, whether you're out shopping, enjoying a festive meal or party, or simply soaking in the holiday spirit, you won't have to worry about the cost of parking."

Free parking is only applicable for the dates listed, and normal charges will apply in promenade park.
