An Essex-based cancer charity has launched its winter raffle, and is offering participants the chance to win £250.

The Helen Rollason Cancer Charity (HRCC) is offering residents the opportunity to win a range of prizes while supporting people living with cancer.

There are four prizes to be won in total, with the first place winner receiving £250, the second prize being a winter hamper, the third prize a makeup set from Benefit worth £100 and the fourth prize a beer gift pack from brewery Bishop Nick.

Holly Butler, marketing coordinator at HRCC, said: "Our raffle draw is a fun and yet valuable way in which to help our charity enable quality of life while living with cancer.

"By playing you can help secure the future of the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity.

"On behalf of all our clients, therapists, volunteers, trustees and staff thank you in advance of your kind support and good luck."

Tickets cost £1 each and can be bought from one of the charity's shops in Burnham-on-Crouch, Wickford, Chelmsford, Witham or Sawbridgeworth.

Tickets can also be bought online here.

The closing date is Wednesday, 26 January.

The draw will take place at 12pm on Friday, 28 January.
