Heybridge: Holloway Road closed due to 'burst water main'
Holloway Road in Heybridge is closed this evening (August 30), as Essex and Suffolk Water carry out repair works.
There was reportedly no warning ahead of the closure, although it is said to have been caused by a burst or damaged water main which requires urgent repair.
Ongoing works are scheduled to end next Monday (September 4), according to the Essex and Suffolk Water website. Temporary traffic lights were in place earlier today.
No further information about the closure has been provided by Essex and Suffolk Water so far this evening.
Updates to follow.
