HEYBRIDGE Swifts youth team are looking for new players for the upcoming season.

The football club, based at the stadium in Scraley Road, Heybridge, starts training from age three in the cubs section and have teams ranging from ages six to 17, as well as a separate group for girls.

The club is especially keen on new recruits for the under-11s, under-13s and under-16s teams.

All coaches are fully DBS checked and hold at least FA level one qualification.

Heybridge Swifts youth secretary, Debbie Hill, said:

"We happily take children of all abilities, including those who have never played before.

"We have a good relationship with our adult teams, too, offering progression from youth right through to the first team, who play in the bostick league.

"We are a great family club with great facilities. Youth players get to mascot for the first team and go to home matches for free. Youth parents also get a discount."
