It's the very last day to have your say in Maldon District Council's public consultation on proposed changes to the High Street.

The online survey ends today (Monday, 16 November).

Draft proposals included with the survey put forward the closure of Maldon High Street to non-essential cars, vans and other motorised vehicles.

The idea is to give pedestrians, cyclists and sustainable transport priority in the High Street, increasing available pavement space.

The consultation has been running from 5 October to 16 November.

A spokesperson said: "These plans will develop and evolve based on the public consultation feedback, and any final plans will form part of a further consultation."

For more information about the High Street Recovery Strategy visit the Maldon District Council website here.

The survey can be completed here.
