Local Amateur Drama Group LADS are back this week with a new show - performing a world exclusive first-time stage adaption of Mrs Caldicot's Cabbage War.

The show will run from Wednesday, November 13 to Saturday November 16, from 7.30pm at the Tractors Shed Latchingdon.

The performance is inspired by the 2002 comedy-drama film, Mrs Caldicot's Cabbage War.

It follows the story of a downtrodden woman who learns how to stand up for herself after being forced into a nursing home. She becomes frustrated, finally inciting her fellow "inmates" to revolt.

After seeing the film televised, LADS was inspired to stage the show.

The author of the play version kindly extended the script to allow LADS to exclusively perform it.

Tickets for the show are available from the LADS website.
