POLICE are investigating a burglary which was reported in the Keeble Park area of Maldon on Tuesday, 27 January.

A number of suspects forced entry to a home between 11.30am and 6.30pm and stole several items of jewellery.

At this stage, no arrests have been made and officers are pursuing a number of targeted forensic, CCTV and investigative opportunities.

Images of the jewellery taken in the burglary have been released and police say: "We'd urge the public to please watch out for these items being sold either online or in person."

Acting Detective Inspector Dan Smith added: "This incident has had a significant impact on the victim and her family and that is not lost on us.

"We're working through a number of lines of enquiry to identify the people responsible.

"There will be a policing presence in the area today as officers carry out house-to-house checks and I would also encourage anyone who witnessed any suspicious behaviour or has dashcam or doorbell footage of the area within the time period to please come forward.
