As several roads throughout Maldon will be closed tomorrow, for the RideLondon cycling event, local bus timetables and routes have been changed.

Below is a list of Maldon's main bus services, along with changes to their timetables:

Stephensons of Essex:

• Service 90 – All services will be operating between Tesco and Morrisons as follows:
• It will divert via the bypass (A414), Spital Road, Acacia Drive and then normal route to Morrisons
• The return journeys will be the same in reverse.
• As the rolling closures are dependent on the speed of the cyclists, for the routes outside of Maldon, all services will to continue as normal. If they get caught by a rolling closure, they will wait until it is clear, then proceed as normal.
• Expect delays between 10.30am and 1.55pm
• Service 288 – From Tesco, it will divert via A414, B1018, Limebrook Way, Park Drive, Mill Road, Mundon Rd, Limebrook Way, B1018 and A414.

First Essex:

Service 331 & 332: From Spital Road, it will divert via Fambridge Road, Cross Road, Mundon Road – it will be unable to serve Maldon High Street.

Passengers will be directed to Spital Road or Mundon Road in both directions.

Service 73 will operate as follows:

First Essex's 73 Bus Service

The 73 service will not serve White Horse, Maldon, between 3-8pm

From Tesco, it will divert via Maldon Bypass, Limebrook Way, Fambridge Road, and turn left into Washington Drive.

75 Service

• The Causeway: Closed between 10:30 – 15:00.
• Buses will terminate in Wood Lane estate at bus stop.
• Ash Grove - depart from this terminus between these times.
• Birch/Smythe's Green: Closed between 11:30 – 13:30.
• Buses will need to go on the following diversion:

Towards Maldon:

After serving Colchester Zoo bus stop, it will turn right onto Warren Lane, take the 1st exit at the roundabout Stanway Western Bypass, 2nd exit at next roundabout, 1st exit at roundabout onto London Road, join the A12 and come off at Kelvedon, at the Blue Anchor Pub turn left onto Inworth Road/Kelvedon Road, at roundabout take 2nd exit, at next roundabout take 2nd exit to Maldon Road.
