Maldon Carnival organisers are looking for some local bands and solo artists to perform at the Party at Plani event on Saturday, 18 September.

A spokesperson for Maldon Carnival said: "We have a stage and budget for at least two bands.

"We are ideally looking for modern family music from around 12pm to 3pm and 60s, 70s and 80s music from around 3pm to 5pm."
