Maldon District Council releases new waste collection schedule for the coming days

Maldon District Council has produced a revised schedule for waste collection over the coming days due to the effects of this week's extreme weather.

A council spokesperson said: "We apologise for the disruption and thank you for your patience."

The garden waste service has been suspended for this week, so that these crews can support the others as the routes will take longer to complete. The crews will not be able to work as quickly as normal due to icy roads and pavements.

Residents are asked to put out their garden waste green bins on the next scheduled collection day as per their calendar.

Residents should also note the change as indicated on the new schedule for those who would have had a collection on Tuesday, 9 February.

The new schedule for the coming days is available by visiting the link here.
