Maldon District Council has asked residents and local businesses to complete an online survey, with the offer of a chance to win £50.

The Council hopes it will allow local people to share their thoughts in the survey, which it says will take no longer than five minutes.

Participants can complete the survey as either a resident or as a representative for a business. It is anonymous and the council says responses will used to inform "strategic direction and delivery".

In order to encourage more people to take part, the Council said: "Respondents are also in with a chance of winning one of two £50 vouchers of your choice".

It asks questions about a variety of topics, including how 'socially included' people feel, how much physical exercise they do, and how the cost of living crisis is affecting them.

Respondents are asked how they could be supported through the cost of living crisis, and space is provided to give more detailed answers.

One question asks participants to select how strongly they agree that "Maldon District Council actively promotes and supports positive and healthy wellbeing".

Other topics covered include how participants feel regarding the educational provision in the district, such as in nurseries or secondary schools, and how safe or unsafe residents feel in the area at different times of day.

To take part in the survey, visit the online form.
