A Heybridge-based charity is offering family gaming sessions, along with dedicated sessions for over-18s, at Maldon Town Hall this summer.
Maldon & District CVS, a charity which provides support to voluntary and community groups throughout the Maldon District, has recently launched its 'Power of Gaming' initiative.
Power of Gaming aims to appeal to players of all ages, offering a range of activities across a variety of platforms.
Gamers can enjoy an eclectic mix from Playstations and Xboxes to retro classics, and even a virtual reality headset.
The new Oculus Quest 2 is an all-in-one virtual reality headset which allows players to step into the game with no console or computer required.
A spokesperson for Maldon & District CVS told Nub News: "There will be something for everyone to try.
"They'll even have you getting up and active with the Nintendo Wii, Xbox Kinect, and a dance mat."
Players under the age of 14 should be accompanied by an adult or older sibling.
Adult gamers are encouraged to take part in one of the gaming nights for over 18's only, where they can enjoy Call of Duty, Battlefield, Zombies and many more, featuring the new Oculus Quest 2 VR, Playstation 5 and the Xbox Series X.
