Essex Police is appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a collision near Southminster yesterday afternoon (June 9).

Officers are investigating the serious collision in Foxhall Road, Steeple, after a man was taken to hospital with "potentially life-changing injuries".

Police were called shortly after 3pm on Friday to reports of a collision involving two vehicles, in which a Kia Rio overturned.

The driver of the second vehicle, a Ford Ranger, was uninjured.

Foxhall Road was closed while emergency services attended the scene.

A police spokesperson said: "If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.

"You can let us know by submitting a report on our website or by using our online Live Chat service available Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) between 10am and 9pm.

"Visit the Essex Police website to find out more about our website reporting services.

"Alternatively, you can call us on 101. In an emergency, always call 999."
