The Maldon Festival 2021 will take place from 25 June to 11 July - with this year's theme being a 'fresh start'.

The fortnight of events this year will include both art exhibitions and concerts, covering everything from jazz to classical, choral and orchestral.

Maldon Festival Director Colin Baldy said: "As 2020's festival was cancelled, it is especially exciting to be back in 2021 offering audiences the chance to reconnect with each other and with the art and live music they love."

Several of this year's events are to be staged in the open air, with some opportunities for al fresco dining. Venues include St Mary's Church in Maldon, The Hythe and The Maeldune Centre.

The festival programme includes a mix of free and priced events. For further details and to book visit the Maldon Festival website using the link here.
