Maldon firefighters rescued a person following a road traffic collision involving a car and tractor this afternoon (Tuesday, 31 August).

The collision took place on the B1026 between Goldhanger and Tolleshunt D'Arcy.

In a statement on Facebook, Maldon Fire Station said: "Crews released one casualty from the car and placed them in the care of the ambulance service."
