Maldon: Get ready for UFest 2025

Maldon's annual community festival will return on August 15 for a celebration of all things health and wellbeing.
UFest community festival will take over Maldon Promenade Park for the fourth time after seeing success in previous years.
The free event promises to offer a diverse range of activities, entertainment, and support services for the entire community.
Councillor Richard Siddall, Leader of Maldon District Council said: "I am delighted that UFest is returning to Maldon's Promenade Park next month.
"The festival has received lots of positive feedback since it began in 2022, and the team behind it have planned an even bigger and better festival this year.
"UFest will give residents an opportunity to take part in activities, try something new and find support they might need."
The festival will feature six zones to experience, including Health and Wellbeing, Children and Family, Sport, Blue Light, Discovery and Climate.
The UFest Trail will also return, where visitors can visit each zone to get a prize.
Free activities will be running from 11am to 4pm, including live music, interactive stalls, and events for the whole community. There will be a fantastic selection of games, sports, and activities to get involved with throughout the day.
There will also be plenty of opportunity to meet children's activity providers, sports clubs, emergency services, community organisations, and Essex Libraries. .
