Heybridge Blackwater Rotary Club presented a cheque for £250 in support of the Museum of Power.

The donation was made at a meeting of the club at Plantation Hall on Monday (10 August).

Rotary Club President Michael Edwards said: "After listening to a talk by Trustee Richard Waylen of the Museum of Powerm - giving members an insight into the working of the museum, the present situation including events planned, educational tours/workshops and future attractions - the Rotary Club gave a donation to assist with these activities."

The museum in Hatfield Road, Langford, has a number of summer events and science workshops for children planned. To find out more you can visit the Museum of Power website using the link here.
