Are you a motivated production engineer who would like to join a globally-renowned biotechnology organisation?

TEC Partners is recruiting an electrical production engineer for an international designer and manufacturer of scientific instrumentation equipment - for use in laboratories across the life sciences and healthcare sectors.

Requirements:

- You should have several years of Electrical Production Engineering experience, and be able to demonstrate a track record of generating innovative process solutions in a manufacturing / assembly environment.

- Previous experience in implementing automated solutions for handling and assembly and producing shop floor layouts to allow the efficient flow of products through the assembly processes.

- Familiarity with DFM would be advantageous.

- Experience in ensuring consistent quality standards are maintained by producing detailed process documentation and assembly instructions and developing and maintaining electrical and electronic process control equipment, including robot automation and in line testing equipment.

- Training of production operatives and managing small teams.

- The ideal candidate should have gained experience in best practice tools such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and Six-Sigma, and experience of project work related to cost, information and timescale planning.

- Degree or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering would be advantageous.
