Maldon: Parking Payback - here's all the businesses taking part and a call for any more wanting to join

MALDON town centre's new Payback Parking scheme now has dozens of High Street businesses signed up to give customers 50p back on their parking when they spend a specified amount – and now the organisers are asking any other businesses wanting to join to get in touch.

Customers need to take their parking receipt (not the ticket itself) to show the retailer when they shop at one of the businesses listed. Each business has set a minimum spend amount to qualify for the 50p back.

Shoppers can claim the 50p at any number of businesses they visit during a trip, without limit. The ticket machines in the town centre car parks can produce the receipt as this has been set up to allow for the scheme.

Any other businesses wanting to join the scheme are asked to call Michael Pearlman on 07850 339639.

Businesses taking part will have stickers in their shop windows, but below is a list of the shops taking part so far and the minimum spend amount at each for the 50p parking payback:
