Maldon: Plume Academy brothers are rugby wunderkinds
Two Plume Academy students are being celebrated for their early success, playing for a London-based professional rugby league club.
Brothers Charlie Randall, in Year 11, and Will Randall, in Year 10, have recently been playing for the London Broncos Under-18s Rugby League Team. They are said to be "very much sorted and sort after" at the club.
Ms Parry, the brothers' PE teacher, said: "We are extremely proud of what Charlie and Will have achieved so early in their sporting career, playing Rugby League.
She added: "Please wish them well if you see them."
Charlie and Will recently travelled up north to play against the Bradford Bulls Under-18s and Leeds Rhinos Under-18s at the prestigious Headingley Stadium.
The boys continue to practice twice a week, travelling to Richmond every Wednesday and Friday. This week, they had their first home fixture at Richmond against St Helens. They have 5 more fixtures to play.
Charlie and Will have started every game, and Charlie has captained the team twice.
In a fortnight, the Randall brothers are set to play against the Warrington Wolves Under-18s.
