Maldon Prom's Grape and Grain grows new nibbles

THE Grape and Grain Experience at Maldon's Prom – aimed at supporting local businesses recover following the pandemic – has some tasty new treats available this weekend.
There will be a pizza van tomorrow (Saturday, 21 August) and paella on Sunday.
The Grape and Grain is a bar experience at Promenade Park serving just local brands to support Essex micro breweries and companies as they find a way forward from the coronovirus crisis.
It runs every Thursday to Sunday, from midday to 9pm.
The pop-up outlet is also serving Tiptree Fruit Pimms and Maldon Salt Bloody Marys. Adnams larger and cider is available, too.All the staff employed at the Grape and Grain Experience are from the local area.
The outlet is situated in the central area of the park, overlooking the River Blackwater, with socially-distanced outdoor tables and chairs offering the chance of a picturesque tipple.
