Maldon Town Council has invited residents to the 2025 Annual Town Meeting.

This public meeting will be held on Monday April 14 in the Town Hall.

It is open to all registered electors of Maldon and provides a key opportunity for residents to discuss important local issues.

You will have the chance to raise concerns, ask questions, and learn about the projects and initiatives that impact Maldon Town residents.

There will also be time to speak directly with Town Councillors as well as meet representatives from local organisations.

The meeting will include an overview of Maldon Town Council's work and achievements during 2024-2025, highlighting key projects and progress made in the community.

Maldon's Town Mayor, Cllr Andrew Lay, commented: "I would encourage local people to attend the Annual Town Meeting as it is an important opportunity for residents to have their voices heard and play an active role in shaping the future of Maldon."

Doors open to the public from 6.45pm and the Annual Town Meeting commences at 7pm.

Local organisations having representation at the Annual Town Meeting include Essex Fire & Rescue, Women's Institute, Mancave, Maldon & Tiptree Football Club, Maldon Gig Rowing Club and Maldon Heritage group.

Light refreshments will be served before the Community Awards presentation commences at 8pm.

Residents are encouraged to submit questions ahead of the meeting via: email to [email protected] or to the Town Council Offices by 4.30pm on Thursday, April 10

An agenda for the meeting will be published one week prior and available from the website or the Town Council offices.
