After an 18 month absence, the first Maldon Twinning Association 'Dining around the World' meal of 2021 took place on 22 September at the Maldon Smokehouse.

It was so good to meet up with people that many of us had not seen for some while, and we were able to start the evening by sitting outside enjoying the view and the

pleasant evening sunshine.

We then adjourned to the relatively new extended indoor sitting area where we participated in the excellent buffet of seafood, smoked meats and an assortment of cheeses and salad.

Seventeen members and one puppy attended the evening and thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful food and surroundings and were pleased to participate again in this social event.

The evening concluded with the customary raffle and, all going well, the next 'Dining around the World' meal will be held at The Queen Victoria.

Our next yearly event of Bangers and Bake will take place at the home of one of our committee members in October.
