Merry Christmas from Maldon Nub News

25th Dec 2020 | Local News

Maldon Nub News would like to wish all our readers a very merry Christmas.

We started bringing you the news back at the start of August and it's been five months where – as for most of 2020 – events have taken some unexpected and unprecedented turns. One of those came little under a week ago with news that Maldon district was to enter Tier 4 and that so many festive plans would have to be cancelled.

Yet for all of that, the compassion of the community in this beautiful place has continued to shine through. Our volunteers are still there to help everyone, hundreds of hampers have been dished out, businesses continue to do whatever they can to serve local people and yes, churches produced online carol services and the Maldon Grinch became a real star.

Here at Maldon Nub News, we will carry on bringing you real, local news through into 2021 and beyond. You can help to support us doing so by liking our Facebook page, following us @MaldonNubNews on Twitter and visiting our website.

And with that, all that remains are those Christmas wishes that however you are spending these festive days this year you and all your loved ones will enjoy a peaceful, healthy and happy time.

Merry Christmas, everyone!
