A new weather warning for snow and ice across the Maldon district has been issued.

The yellow warning - which indicates a small chance of disruption to travel and power supplies, runs from 10am on Wednesday, 30 December until 6am on New Year's Eve.

Current forecasts indicate that the cold weather, with temperatures dropping to freezing or below at night, will continue right through next weekend in the Maldon area.
