Mindful Life Group to deliver life-changing opportunity for those with mental health issues

AN exciting new opportunity is set to make its way to Essex over the coming months.
Online mindfulness programmes are beginning to be delivered by The Mindful Life Group, the UK's only not for profit organisation dedicated to older adult mental health.
Their range of courses, focused on the ever increasing in popularity practice of mindfulness to improve mental health, has enjoyed success all round the country and Essex is the latest county to receive the chance to reap the benefits.
The courses offered will be providing participants with tools to take control of their mental health and the skills learned are developed throughout the duration of the course, with follow up videos being available on the programme website after the course has ended.
There are no expectations placed on who should attend the courses and no barriers to attending, with the online delivery providing high quality psychological intervention for both individuals with mental health and/or social care needs, as well as the people who care for them every day.
In past Mindfulness for Carers courses organised and implemented by The Mindful Life Group, carers have reported that their resilience levels have increased, as well as shown improvement in their sleep quality and quantity, with one carer even saying: 'I just feel more able to cope'.
All courses offered are free of charge, funded by Essex County Council and all programmes are evidence based and designed by clinical psychologists.
While the programmes offered in the area will begin with the popular 'Mindfulness for Older Adults Who Care', The Mindful Life Group will soon be offering subsidised psychological therapy sessions too.
