New Indian takeaway restaurant to open in Heybridge

The team behind a new Indian takeaway restaurant in Heybridge have said they are excited to welcome customers to their grand opening next month.
MD Polash and Sumon Ali will be opening Inaya's Kitchen, a new authentic Indian and peri-peri food takeaway, in Heybridge on Sunday, 10 April with a special taster session and ribbon-cutting ceremony.
MD's partner Alice Turfkruyer said: "MD has worked in various Indian takeaways in Burnham, but he's always wanted his own and it's got to the point where he's gone for it and decided to do it."
She said the restaurant will be welcoming customers earlier than usual on the day of its grand opening "so people can come and meet us".
Residents will be able to try a selection of items from the restaurant's new menu from 3pm to 4.30pm on the day.
Councillor Mark Heard, chairman of Maldon District Council, will then officially open the kitchen at 5pm by cutting the red ribbon.
Customers will also be able to enjoy a special discount of 50 per cent off the menu for collection orders throughout the evening.
The restaurant will be open six days a week and will be closed on Tuesdays.
Its opening hours are 5pm to 10.30pm from Mondays to Thursdays, and 4.30pm to 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
You can find Inaya's Kitchen at 44 The Street in Heybridge.
