Witham's Tory Member of Parliament, Priti Patel, spoke to a Minister about her concerns with the St Peter's Proposal in parliament yesterday (March 5, 2024).

In a debate on Health and Social Care in the Commons yesterday, Witham's MP Priti Patel spoke about community concerns with proposed changes to St Peter's Hospital, Maldon.

In the meeting, Priti Patel posed a question to Helen Whately, Minister of State for Health and Social Care.

Helen Whately then agreed to meet with the two local MPs.

Rt Hon Sir John Whittingdale, the MP for Maldon, has recently released a survey to Maldon constituents regarding the hospital closure.

You can learn more about this survey, here.

Maldon Nub News are continuing to follow the story and will be publishing further information shortly.
