Maldon's very own Mighty Oak Brewery announced this week that, by popular demand, they are re-introducing the popular Kings Citra beer.

The Kings Citra Beer is hopped with heaps of US Citra, creating a refreshing ale packed with a citrusy taste and aroma - perfect for Summer!

The re-introduction follows a difficult decision by Mighty Oak Brewery last year to withdraw the beer from its permanent range, due to the increasing price of US Citra Hops.

After hundreds of Kings Citra fans expressed their disappointment to the brewery team, they can now 'hop' for joy - as the Maldon brewery begins production once again.

'Kings Citra Hop' available now online for collection and delivery. Want it in your local? Just ask you pub landlord.

Director of the Mighty Oak Brewery, Gill Crawford, said "So many of our customers contacted us about our decision to discontinue Kings Citra ale, we were very surprised by the outcry and felt that we could not ignore such strength of feeling.

"Now we have made a complete U-turn on that unpopular decision and production of Kings Citra is well underway".

You can buy Kings at your local pub, just ask your landlord to get some in, visit the Mighty Oak Tap Room in Maldon High Street, or even visit the Spital Road brewery to buy bottles and cask for enjoying at home.

Can't pop in? Mighty Oak offers free home delivery to Maldon and Dengie postcodes for orders of £60 and above.
