IT'S been another seven days of big news stories in Maldon, from a road accident that left a pensioner seriously injured through to news that Maldon would be placed under Tier Two 'High level restrictions again at the end of national lockdown, rather than Tier One as hoped. Despite the bad news, there was good news, too – the town centre festive lights went on and the High Street shops got ready for December late-night shopping Thursdays.
