Female Support Worker Healthcare Assistant at SCP Complex Care, Maldon - £11.08-£16.63 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

SCP Complex Care is looking for a female support worker for their client, who is a young adult female with complex care needs and is a wheelchair user.

The role will be to provide care and support to the client at her family home and out in the community, assisting the client to maintain her own independence and to enrich her life. She requires assistance with manual handling and personal care. She is seeking carers who are lively and bubbly and will encourage her to participate in clubs and activities.

Shift patterns are 08.00–12:00 & 16:00–22:00, Monday-Sunday.

Requirements:

  • Commitment to providing the highest standard of compassionate care
  • A current enhanced DBS on the update service (preferred but not essential)
  • Sound knowledge of person centred care
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Parks Operative via First Call Contract Services Limited, Maldon - £12.53 to £13.65 per hour

Duties include:

  • Assisting with parks and open spaces horticultural maintenance and development
  • Grass cutting, strimming, shrub maintenance, attendant duties, leaf clearance
  • Carry out all operations in accordance with current health and safety requirements

Requirements:

  • Understanding of gardening 
  • Experience with use of power tools e.g. hedge cutters, strimmers
  • Driving licence is preferable
  • Good punctuality

Gas Supervisor via Rubix M&E, Maldon - £38,000-£40,000 per annum

Rubix M&E are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable firm looking for a Gas Supervisor.

The successful applicant will have experience working in a similar position and have good knowledge around Servicing & Repairs.

Qualifications required:

  • Domestic Gas tickets
  • SMSTS/SSSTS would be desirable but not essential.

Relevant experience working as:

  • Domestic Gas Engineer
  • Technical Engineer
  • Gas Supervisor

Working hours: 8am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday.

Cleaner at Plume Academy, Maldon – up to £9.50 per hour

The posts offer an excellent opportunity to work in our highly successful academy which holds a good Ofsted status. The Cleaning Department has a strong team working ethos, is very supportive of new members of staff with induction programmes in place and on the job training provided.

In accordance with the job description for Cleaner, the main responsibilities are as follows:

  • To work as part of a team and to provide a high level of cleaning
  • To undertake the cleaning of areas, as specified by the Cleaning Supervisor or Cleaning, Catering and Hospitality Manager
  • The postholder will be expected to observe safe working practices in carrying out their required duties and report any potential hazards
  • To undertake training in the correct use of cleaning equipment such as floor machines, vacs, wets pick-ups and in health and safety and the use of cleaning chemicals
  • All employees are expected to show a responsible attitude to health and safety issues and have due regard for their personal safety and that of others
