Maldon High Street: this list tells you what could still be open in this second national lockdown

THIS second national lockdown is very different to the first and the streets of Maldon district look and feel much busier than they did in the spring.

So here's a list of some different types of shops that are and are not allowed to open as usual. In addition, even at shops that are not allowed to open to customers, click and collect services can still be in place. However, it is important to bear in mind that some businesses may have decided not to open, so it's always best to double check before you go.

Shops Allowed to Open (Covid-secure arrangements must be in place):

Supermarkets and shops, farm shops and market stalls selling food

• Off-licences

• Garden centres

• Hardware stores and building supplies

• Banks and building societies, post offices and those providing some other financial services
