Churches from all over Maldon will be joining together to mark Good Friday with a silent Walk of Witness.

The morning starts at The Assumption of Our Lady Catholic Church at 9.30am with a reading of the crucifixion account from the Bible, then the procession will leave at 10am to walk along Victoria Road and up the High Street to All Saints Church, with members of different churches carrying a large wooden cross.

At All Saints, at approximately 10.20am there will be a short service in the churchyard.

A short road closure will allow the procession to pass.
