Upstairs Downstairs Opening at Edwards Walk Shopping Arcade, Maldon: Friday July 22, at 11am

  • The popular High Street shop has undergone a 'complete refurbishment', following the previous owners' retirement.
  • It will be officially reopened by the Town Mayor, Councillor Andrew Lay.

Funky Voices Choir Performance in Promenade Park, Maldon: Saturday July 23, from 1pm

  • The choir will be performing at the amphitheatre in Promenade Park
  • Bring your picnic blankets and chairs, grab some refreshments from the park cafes and outlets, or bring your own!
  • The free concert will last from 1-2pm and the event is open to all - friends, family and dogs included.

Langford Country Fete at the Museum of Power, Langford: Sunday July 24, 10am-3pm

  • Folk music, talks & workshops, agricultural machinery, nature & ecology, country crafts, games and fun for all
  • Dog show at 12 noon - categories are: Waggiest Tail, Best Trick, Golden Oldie (8 years plus), Precious Puppy (under 12 months) and Best Rescue (any age).
  • Adult £8.00, Concessions £7.00, Children (5-15) £5.00, Children Under 5 FREE

Power of Gaming Summer Family Fun Day/18+ Gaming Night at Maldon Town Hall: Sunday July 24, 12pm-10pm

  • Family Gaming 12-5pm 
  • Take part in a range of gaming activities across a variety of consoles from PlayStation to Xbox and all the retro classics.
  • You can even get up and active with Nintendo Wii, Xbox Kinect, VR headset and a dance mat.
  • Players under the age 14 should be accompanied by an adult or older sibling.
  • 18+ Gaming Evening 6-10pm (tickets cost £6)
  • Join one of the over-18s gaming nights and experience Call of Duty, Battlefield, Zombies and much more featuring the new Oculus Quest 2 VR, PS5 and XBOX Series X.
