Gold: Maldon Promenaders' 40th Show at Maldon Town Hall: Friday 18 November, from 8pm and Saturday 19 November, at 2.30pm and 8pm

The popular Maldon Promenaders are back on stage again this year, after 40 years of entertaining people and raising lots of money for local charities.

This year's performance promises to give audiences the best of the best, with their show called 'Promenaders Gold'.

Christmas Bazaar at St Andrew's Church, Althorne: Saturday 19 November, from 11am until 3pm

Join parishioners and stall holders St Andrews for their Christmas bazaar, in aid of church funds.

Activities are set to include a raffle, tombola and other competitions.

Books, jigsaws and bric-a-brac will be on sale, with refreshments also on offer.

Heybridge Primary PTFA Festive Market at Plantation Hall, Heybridge: Saturday 19 November, from 6.30pm until 9.30pm

Organised by the parents at Heybridge Primary School, 20 stalls will offer 'amazing' products, set to make ideal Christmas gifts.

Mulled wine and mince pies will also be available.

Wreath Making Workshop at the Museum of Power, Langford: Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 November, from 10am until noon, or 1pm until 3pm

Make your own hand-crafted Christmas wreath, facilitated by Essex-based artist, Paula MacGregor.

Each session costs £30 per person, and seasonal refreshments are included.

Children are welcome to participate in the crafting session free with a paying adult.
