Book Signing with Russel Webb, Maldon

Join Maldon Book for another exciting book signing event with author, Russell Webb. Russell is the author of Love Beyond Love, a moving memoir on Russell's life with his late wife, Sharon. Russell will be signing copies of his book at the bookshop from 11 am.

Eurovision Song Contest Stream, Maldon

Going to be watching Eurovision this weekend? Why not head out and watch it with the community? Maldon Little Ship Club will be streaming the contest on a large screen on their upper deck from 8 pm. Bring your own drinks, but nibbles will be provided. £5 entry for non-members.

Quiz Night, Maldon

Come along to a quiz night at West Maldon Community Centre with quizmaster Kevin Briggs. From 8 pm, your team will be challenged to 10 sets of 10 questions. £5 pp with accompanied under 16s free. Bring your own drinks and nibbles!

Sunday

Walk For Life, Maldon/ Heybridge

Farleigh Hospice invites you to take part in their sponsored walks this weekend. What's better than a countryside stroll in the sun? The 12km ramble begins at Paper Mill Lock, Little Baddow at 9.30-11.30 am, but if you fancy a challenge, the 24km route starts at Heybridge Basin at 8.30-10.30 am. Both routes culminate at Teledyne Offices. This family-friendly event is suitable for keen walkers of all ages, who will receive a t-shirt at the start and a medal at the finish. Sign-up costs £20 for adults and £5 for under 16s before Thursday, May 9, where on the day prices slightly increase.
